Illness
I reserve the right to temporarily deny any child from admittance into A Child’s World , or to require early departure should symptoms become apparent during the course of the day, for reasons of obvious illness including , but not limited to a temperature of 98.6 degrees and / or symptoms and signs of possible severe illness.
Fever Higher then 98.6-without medication
If your child has a temperature higher then 98.6 and we are involved in active play then I will have your child calm down and then take your child’s temperature again, if it continues to go up past 99.6 then you will be required to pick up your child with in one hour of phone call.
Upper Respiratory Infection including coughing
Runny Nose-Anything other then clear will not be permitted into care
Coughing (More then 4 times in care could be a sign of a virus)
Diarrhea
Vomiting
Inflamed Eye
Pink or Red Eye (s)
Head Lice
Skin Infection
Anything contagious
Your child may not return to A Child’s World unless they have been symptom free for 24 hours and no less as this is guidelines set by the state. If your child has been sent home from daycare with any of the symptoms listed above then they will be required to return with a Doctors note and will not be admitted into a child’s world until a Doctors note has been supplied to the attending provider. It is also your responsibility to have a back up daycare in the event that your child becomes sick. ACW will not admit your child into care if they become sick because you have to go to work.
Illness when Siblings are registered in ACW
If you have more then one child registered in ACW childcare and one of them become ill then all children in registered in care will not be permitted into care until both are free from all symptoms for a minimum of 24 hours and no less.
To insure the safety of My family and your any child in care or family member of child in care with signs or symptoms of the Swine Flu may not attend childcare until all infected parties have been cleared by a doctor and a valid doctor note has been submitted to ACW.
