Hello My name is Laurie Heisler and I have been operating my childcare facility since March 4th, 2004.

I was born to Mary & Larry Holden who have been my inspiration to everything I do or have done in my life. I have learned from my mother when she was alive to be out going and affectionate, to give people a chance to change and always save the moment because one day you may not have those moments there to experience. Life is what you make it and it could disappear in a blink of an eye so don’t waste a second of it, utilize every bit of it and savor every moment that you can.

My father taught me to be creative, never give up, always be real, respectful and always look into the future for the unexpected because things change and you need to be prepared when they do. 

I’m happily married to a great man who will drive me nuts playing video games every night, but when I need him most he’s always their for me every step of the way. He will stand by me no matter what and I will be there for him until the day I die no matter what. So after 18 years together I guess you can say were the perfect match for each other. We have 3 wonderful children who are in 3 words-talkative, gitty and rotten, but I wouldn’t change them for the world, their my babies even if their not infants any longer.

I started a childcare/Pre-School in the lower level of my home so I could be home with my children and it’s great because I get to have fun with my job everyday. I can teach them and watch their brains soak up information like wet sponges or I can goof off and be a kid when I want to with them.

I am Certified By CCA, Finger Printed by the FBI and the state of Md., CPR, First Aid Trained, I've taken the following classes: Maryland Model For School Readiness Year 1 & 2, 90 Hour Pre-Service Pre-School Development-Child growth and development,  Pre-Service Pre-School Development, Infant Safety/SIDS, Health And Safety, Health And Safety/Preschool Child Development, Up And Running, Creating A Secure Childcare Environment, Creating A Provider Portfolio, Creating A Legacy Of Love, Health And Safety/Preschool  Child Development, Toilet Learning, Abuse And Neglect, Day By Day With Toddlers, Conflict Resolutions-Keeping Peace, Infants In Childcare, Nurturing Children's Self Esteem, Transitions And Other Troublesome Times, Stress Management For The Childcare Professional, Stress Solutions For Women, All Star Parenting, Discipline With Excellence , Art Across The Alphabet, Special Needs & Special Needs. I have over 287 Hours of Training and I'm currently working on adding: Conversational Sign Language Parts 1-4, Teaching Nonverbal Language Skills & The Hard To Handle Child.

So I guess you could say if I were to die today I would die happy because the world is my playground and I’m having the best day at the park for as long as I live.
